Our Story: A Legacy of Excellence
Pagets has been a family-run business for over 60 years. Now led by Belinda Anglin, the third generation of the family, we continue to uphold our strong heritage and customer-first values.
Founded in 1957 by Charles Henry Paget and Lawrence Garner, the company started as C Paget and Co Limited, serving both plumbing and building trades. In 1975, Belinda’s father and grandfather, William Barlow and Frank J. Kershaw, took over, relocating to Infirmary Road, Sheffield, where Belinda got her first experience in the business.
By the late 1980s, Pagets had expanded significantly, opening a larger site at Broadfield Road, Heeley, which became our Head Office, strengthening our ability to serve a growing customer base.
Our Continued Growth & Commitment
In 2016, we took a major step forward by redeveloping our Broadfield Road site, introducing a large warehouse, a new sales counter, a self-selection area, and additional office space. This investment enabled us to expand our product range significantly.
A year later, in 2017, we proudly celebrated 60 years of successful business in Sheffield. Since then, we’ve continued to grow and improve, reinvesting in our team, facilities, and services.
What’s New Since 2017?
- Expanded Our Team – We have increased our workforce by over 20% to enhance customer service and expertise.
- Improved Delivery Capabilities – We invested in two additional delivery trucks, ensuring faster and more efficient deliveries.
- New Timber Yard – To meet rising demand and navigate potential supply challenges, we introduced a dedicated timber yard.
- Enhanced Stock Storage – With the addition of high-level racking, we now store and stock over 10,000 different products, offering our customers even more choice and availability.
